Notice of By-Election
Council has passed Order In Council 2026-011 advising all citizens that the election process is being restarted in order to ensure compliance with the applicable election requirements and procedures.
A new Form 1 Notice of Election will be issued to all eligible citizens aged 18 years and older.
The election date has been set for August 21, 2026. The nomination period for Elder Councillor will close on July 3, 2026.
In the event that no nominations are received for the Elder Councillor position, nominations for Councillor-at-Large will open, with a closing date of July 17, 2026.
All previous election notices are hereby withdrawn. Updated notices and election materials will be issued accordingly.
