Yukon Geological Survey

Yukon Geological Survey (YGS) plans to undertake a helicopter based geophysical survey from August 19-21 at several sites in the Burwash area. They will fly to the site, shut down the machine and set up monitoring equipment to take geophysical measurements. They will then return the next day to remove the equipment. Also, YGS plans to land on Jacquot Island to collect a rock sample as part of this survey work. Maps showing the site locations for the geophysical monitoring and landing sites on Jacquot Island can be found on the KFN website and Facebook page.
