Three (3) Summer Positions

Heritage Assistant – (12 weeks) Summer Term Position
The Kluane First Nation Lands Resources and Heritage Department, Heritage Branch will provide for one summer student to work with the LRH – Heritage Branch staff for 2019, starting May 13th to August 23rd.. The main place of work will be the Dän Däw ‘Edësëdáye Kù – Kluane First Nation Administration Offices. The position is for 12 weeks at 420 hours = 70 hours a bi-weekly with a compressed work week to allow for Flex Friday on paydays.
Duties: The Heritage Assistant will:
• Work closely with and report to the Heritage Manager
• Assist the Language-Culture Coordinator with specific projects

PWMS Labourer – (8 Week) Summer Student Position
Working as a labourer under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will work on landscaping, renovation labour on elders homes and public buildings, and camp maintenance as required.

Daycamp Assistant – (8 Week) Summer Student Position
The Day Camp Assistant will assist in the planning and leading of daily activities of children ages 5 – 12years.
The Day Camp Assistant is a role model and as such is required to lead a healthy lifestyle including responsible and active living, participation in cultural and traditional activities in order to set a positive example for children and members of the community.
