A new Form 1 Notice of Election will be issued to all eligible citizens aged 18 years and older.

The election date has been set for August 21, 2026. The nomination period for Elder Councillor will close on July 3, 2026.

In the event that no nominations are received for the Elder Councillor position, nominations for Councillor-at-Large will open, with a closing date of July 17, 2026.

All previous election notices are hereby withdrawn. Updated notices and election materials will be issued accordingly.

The KFN Election Committee remains committed to ensuring that the election process is conducted fairly, transparently, and in accordance with all applicable requirements.
